HEALTHY EATING FOR A HEALTHY LIFE

A healthy diet can help to provide your body with essential vitamins, macronutrients, micronutrients and adequate calories.

Unfortunately, a good portion of the U.S. follows the standard American diet (or “SAD”) which consists of calorie dense but nutrient poor foods such as processed meats, inflammatory oils, bread, pastries, crackers, cookies, sugary drinks, fast food, and more.  Most of us will not get sick from eating a small amount of these processed foods but when these are eaten consistently and in excessive quantities, the risk of developing modern diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and autoimmune disease rises. When processed and refined foods are cut out of your diet, what is left is fresh whole food nutrition:

  • Fruits

  • Vegetables

  • Whole Grains

  • Nuts, Seeds

  • Legumes: Beans, Lentils, Peas

Don’t let whole food nutrition intimidate you, it just simply means consuming what our bodies were meant to consume so they can function and thrive optimally day-to-day.

Make the investment in yourself while being more conscious of what you consume because your health really is your wealth!
